St Andrew's Old Collegians
The St Andrew's College Old Collegians Association aims to cement and promote friendships established at school, and contribute actively to the growth and development of the College.
It achieves this by organising class reunions for each decade and other special events and functions, providing study scholarships to sons and daughters of Old Collegians and offering travel assistance to students for sports and cultural trips.
The reunions held each year are popular and lively affairs – testimony to the enormous influence the College has had on the lives of New Zealanders from all walks of life.
We love to hear from our Old Collegians and do encourage you to update your details with us or to simply let us know what's happening.

Two Thousand of the original bricks from the Memorial Chapel have been carefully salvaged and will be incorporated into the new design as part of the memorial wall. We are fast selling these bricks with the donors being able to have their name or family's name recorded on a plaque. Bricks are available for purchase at $3,000, which can be paid over five years at the cost of $50.00 per month.
The Centennial Challenge is a special initiative led by our Old Collegians that will assist in letting all of our community know that we only have 2000 bricks available and to take part in the campaign Step Into Our Future and to attend the College’s Centenary celebrations in 2017.
The Centennial Challenge message for Old Collegians is to:
- Get Connected
- Be a part of history
Recipes from the Tartan Kitchen
The cookbook is inspired by the many occasions where we gather as families, friends and the StAC community to celebrate our traditions and our students.
Parents, students, staff, Old Collegians and friends of StAC have submitted many delicious recipes that went through a rigorous testing with our wonderful food team. They selected a mouth-watering range of recipes covering everything from breakfast to dessert, easy to whip up creations to high-end dining. There really is a recipe for everyone in this cookbook!
Alongside the magnificent food photography from renowned photographer Stephen Goodenough we are thrilled to include photos from St Andrew’s across the ages.

This is Us - StAC LipDup Video
Students from St Andrew's College TV and Film Academy recently made this lipdub video entitled "This is Us", a fine example of how StAC students had the initiative to come up with a big idea and the confidence to make it happen. The idea was pitched by student head of television Blake Morgan and widely supported by students and staff at the College. The idea was for students to come together as a whole school and to celebrate StAC's wonderful school spirit. The extraordinary aspect to this video is that it was filmed as one continuous shot, meaning that for each section the media team could only do one or two takes. The whole video was filmed during the course of one school day, which meant it was a huge logistical exercise to organise. Well done to Blake and the team for pulling together the logistics and to the staff and students who supported this initiative so enthusiastically.
